Client Success Manager

Job Description

 

DealCatalyst is a technology focused events company operating in the capital markets sector. We convene key market makers through a combination of digital and in person formats including conferences, social networking events and membership programs.

We are seeking an organized and customer service-oriented Client Success Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sponsor coordination and organizing conferences and events in the finance industry. The Client Success Coordinator will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful execution of events that meet the needs of attendees, sponsors, and the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, and be able to work independently and collaboratively. 

 

Principle accountabilities

      → Meet and exceed personal and event-based revenue targets.

      → Manage existing client relationships and continuously grow account spend via a consultative sales process.

      → Build new relationships with clients and advisors in the market via direct contact with senior-level decision-makers face-to-face and digitally.

      → Collaborate with Product and Marketing colleagues to manage and consistently improve the customer experience and customer journey.

      → Travel to client and DealCatalyst events will be required.

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

      → Plan and coordinate conferences and events in the finance industry, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor management. 

      → Coordinate with sponsors to ensure successful execution of events, including coordinating sponsor needs, deliverables, and follow-up. 

      → Support sales by delivering the contracted sponsor benefits and working with sponsors to increase their engagement with and promotion of the event via various channels including social media. 

      → Data entry: Manage the customer relationship database ensuring data is entered accurately and in a timely manner. 

      → Accurately process all incoming sponsor contracts and work with the finance team to ensure accurate record-keeping. 

      → Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including attendees, vendors, and sponsors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive experience for all. 

      → Act as the main point of contact for sponsor event registration and provide best in class customer support. 

      → Communicate and adhere to key project deadlines. 

      → Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events. 

      → Support ad-hoc projects as needed. 

      → Keeps the sales team and Chief Revenue Officer informed of progress through regular written updates and weekly check-ins. 

      → Works cross-functionally with colleagues to support marketing, audience development, and production initiatives. 

 

Qualifications 

      → Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality, Marketing or related field preferred .

      → 1-3+ years of experience in event coordination or customer service, preferably in the conference and events industry.

      → Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. 

      → Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      → Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders. 

      → Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential. 

      → Proficiency with event management software and familiarity with CRM platform 'HubSpot' a plus. 

      → Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

      → Good understanding of data/privacy regulation (including GDPR) an advantage.

Hours & Compensation

This is a full-time position working 40+ hours per week; we offer flexible working arrangements and place a strong emphasis on a good work/life balance.

There will be opportunities for international travel to conferences.
